Default Headers again...

I search for who accually makes headers for the 5.3. Colorado... no luck... Was talking with my dealer and the service manager said it was his understanding that the Chevy trailblazer SS 2006 and up is the same frame and engine block. He also said that the exhaust manifolds were the same. So headers that would fit the Trailblazer SS would definatly fit the 2009 and up 5.3 Colorado.

I found a couple of companies that produce headers with and without the Cats for the Trailblazer SS. ranging from $500.00 to $1400.00 made with T-304 Stainless Steel.
Kooks and OBX S.S.
You guys seem to have the best handle on this sort of thing...
Anybody out there have any input on this?
Thanks,
The new guy.... Dan

Isn't the TB SS engine an LS2 or something? I guess that would make it a Gen IV like the LH8 (LH9) but...

wish we could get more pics of the trailblazer ss and our trucks to see if they'd fit im sure they will be cheaper then any other company getting these done

just watched a video on some shop installing kooks onto a SS and things seem a lot the same, might have less changes to make and things to NOT take off.apart haha.

heres a link with some pics. http://www.355nation.net/forum/engine-swaps/18479-ls7-alive.html

I know that several companies make headers for the tbss,so does anyone know if any of the shorty headers would work, i'm thinking that they should fit with not much problem, in fact i'm debating on buying some and trying them lol
